I Do Gift Card Bag

Tomorrow my husband and I will be attending a wedding of an old family friend. I have known the bride since I was little so a long time. When I went to buy them a wedding present they did not have very much left on their registry except larger items, so I decided to buy a gift card to the store so they could apply it to whatever they still wanted.

I had to create a fun little bag to put the card in especially since I just got the Summer Celebrations cart and it has a few fun wedding cuts on it. I picked out the cute "I do" cut and the matching wedding rings tag for the bag and set out to work.

I cut the bag using Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. I used paper from My Mind's Eye Summer Song Stack. I cut that bag at width: 12.73 and height: 6.48 and I rotated it on the mat 41 degrees before flipping it so the slit for the ribbon and tag would be where I wanted it.

I cut the fun I Do plus the shadow for it at width: 3.17 and height 1.59. I opted not to cut the extra piece for the ring because I was using a gold card stock already. The tag was cut at width: 1.32 and height 1.82.  I am sure it will be fun to see everyone in her family and some old friends tomorrow at the wedding. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Remember next Saturday I will be hosting my very first blog hop:
It's a Wrap!
(all fun ways to wrap gifts). I hope you will join us.
