Rainbow Card

My sister is always a great person to go to when I am having doubts about things, am down or just need advice. We are both teachers so this time of year is very busy for us. I have a daughter starting Kindergarten and yesterday I had a rough day emotionally dealing with some things. She allowed me to totally spill it on her. When I was done, I asked her how she was and allowed her to spill all over me. I was so happy when we were done talking...I felt calm and thankful for her.  I wanted to make her a card to say thanks.
I love this stamp set from Inkadinkado called Friendly Advice. It is all kids sayings. I picked a cute stamp for my card and set off to find my card details on my Gypsy.
I picked out the rainbow and sun cuts from Hello Kitty Greetings. I used my Gypsy and that wonderful hide/contour button to get all my different rainbow colors and set up my mat so I could cut it all at once.
I have been trying to add more details to my projects lately so I played around with silver ink on the edges of my cloud (not so easy to get into those corners with large ink pads) and than decided it also needed some embossing as well.
When the card was all put together I added a pink ribbon to tie it all together (love that little pun!!)I put my own hand written message on the inside and sent it off in the mail.

Thanks for stopping by.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.
