Fairy Tea Party Layout

Well it only took me a year and a half to get the scrapbook layout for my daughter's Fairy Tea Party Birthday done. Jacob told me this morning that I should focus on something I have been tying hard to get done and he would help out, so I decided it was time to get the layouts for the party done (I have had the photos in had for a long time).
First I had to select the right paper, Jacob was very patient with me and held the photos while I looked at almost all my paper. I finally selected some paper from The Paper Studio, Daydream Doodle stack.
Next I had to decided what font I wanted to use on the layout. I have not been using my E2 very much and thought I should be so I looked at Cricut American Alphabet and with the fun swirls it has on some the letters I knew it would work. I used my E2 and with the spacing button was able to get it to fit on my leftover paper from the background patterns.  Next I cut out 2 fairies from A Child's Year (the one with the gift just made it for me) in some silver paper.

I cut and rounded the corners on my photos and laid everything out. I wasn't happy so I went looking for some ribbon to add to the space where the papers met. I did not want any adhesive to show so I put it on where it would be under photos only (and wrapped it to the back as well). I am really loving my new ribbon adhesive.

I had to add some fairy sparkles using my I Rock (not sure how I survived without this tool) and than my daughter came in and hugged me for a long time!! Jacob also was happy to have cleared his mind and called up Marie Elise to go on a date this evening. They left here on a fancy carriage ride both with smiles beaming. We will see how the evening plays out tomorrow. (And Jacob did not forget about the give. He'll share tomorrow announced as well!!)

  4. Awww, your layout is adorable, especially the pictures showing all the little fairies! How cute is that?!! and how ingenious to have a fairy party for your daughter. She must have had a blast with all her friends! And oh how romantic it is for Jacob and Marie Elise to be on a carriage ride together. I still think they make such a great looking couple! --Pat N.
