Emery Layout

Oh the weekend is finally here and I have finally gotten my photos off my camera and ready to share. I got to attend a wonderful all day crop last Sunday and I had so much fun meeting some of my Cricut Circle Sisters! We may not have gotten a lot finished (some of us more than others), but we did laugh a lot and have a great time. I actually did get several layouts completed and I am happy to share.

This is my beautiful niece, Emery and a layout I did from her birthday photos last spring.

I actually made a sketch for this layout when I saw how the photos would all fit together. I gathered paper and ribbon to bring with me to the crop to work on this.

Putting everything together was super easy with the sketch and I am glad I took my time selecting the papers for this because I think they worked out great. I decided to use Cindy Loo for the letters.  I think this is one font that looks good when you put the letters going down a page..not all do in my opinion.

I also knew this page had to have some ribbon on it because my niece is always wearing bows in her hair. When going to tie it, I didn't like the look but the button added the perfect touch.
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend. I plan on being in my scrap room a lot this weekend, finishing up some projects form last weekend, cutting some fun things for the upcoming movie wedding shower and a few other project ideas in my head...hmm maybe I will get it all done?  HA! Who am I fooling? Happy weekend!

  4. Love the layout! You did such a great job! I'm sorry you didn't get much done at the crop! I will take the blame for the day being more social than productive!
