Ink It Pink: Pink By Design's First Challenge

Have you heard that Pink By Design stamp company is now sponsoring a challenge. The first one is up right now on their blog HERE. The goal of this challenge is to use stamps as a background for your project. For the first month of challenges you do not need to use Pink By Design stamps, but I happen to have several sets and decided to use them to play along.
Now don't go crazy here, yes I made Lunch Box cards. I know summer just started, but I have only one left in my stash and wanted to start the process of replenishing so I would be all set for my daughter's first grade year.

I used the Pink By Design set Our Kids to stamp the messages used on these cards. I have never used stamps as the background before so I was really just playing around deciding what I liked. I love using Dew Drop ink pads on my small stamps because they give me more control over where the ink goes and you can us 2 colors to get a fun look like I did with the "You are loved" stamp here.
I cut out some basic hearts (if you know me at all you know these are from Designer's Calendar, my favorite heart cut) and a star off Cricut American Alphabet (which took me forever to find in my Gypsy because it is labeled just Cricut Alphabet) to add to these cards.
Of course I had to add some sparkle with my Stickles because my little 6-year-old loves sparkle!  Now I am on my way to having a secure lunch box card stash for next school year and I got to take part in the first ever Ink It Pink Challenge!!  Happy Saturday to All!

  7. Yeah!! Thanks so much for playing along! Amazing the things you learn as a first time parent!! I don't know that I would've known to have lunch box cards!! LOL kind've how I started paper crafting was a mishap - errrrr miscommunication around a Valentines Day party at Son's Daycare when he came home with LOT'S of goodies from the other Mommies! Their should be a handbook! ;)
