My Type of Grandma

Yes I know Father's day was yesterday and yes I know that Mother's Day was in May, but I was a little busy in May and did not get to the project I have been wanting to complete for my Mom since last May when I first got this printer's tray on sale at Michael's.

This type case has been taunting me for over a year and I finally faced my demons and went for it. OH how fun was it to do and easy.  I selected pictures and paper to match my color scheme and went to work measuring and cutting everything to the correct size and than I went to town in my stash of flowers, ribbon, tags and stickers to find what I needed to embellish each space in the type case. In the end....
The last touch was the paper flowers I made using a flower by Lori Whitlock from the Silhouette Store. It was easy to put together on a brad and I adhered it with a glue gun.
I am so pleased and I brought it over to my Mom ASAP, she found a nail to hang it with right away and now wants to make them for a bunch of friends and family.
TOOLS:
Paper: DCWV Lemon Flower Stack, Summer Days Stack
Flowers: Recollections Floral Embellishments
Stickers: The Girls' Paperie paper girl set, K & Company Blue Awning Adhesive Paper Ribbon, Basic Grey Nickel,  & Creative Imaginations Narratives
Other: the Girls' Paperie on Holiday brads, Paper girl die cut.
