Dance Upon a Falling Star Layout

Do you ever get the perfect idea for a project? Sometimes it all just seems to work out right? This layout is one of those times for me.
The Pink By Design, Ink It Pink Challenge this week is "Show us some sparkle!" You have to use some type of sparkle material: glitter paper, Stickles, gem etc.. You also need to use Pink By Design Stamps on your project. I went looking at my stamps and found the perfect one to inspire my layout.
This stamp, from the All Girl set, gave me the perfect idea. I found a photo of my daughter and went to work. The first step was creating the background. I used a star cut from A Child's Year and with my Gypsy scattered it in different sizes all over the page. Then I cut out all those stars and layered the black layer over a sparkling white piece of paper (Sparkle element 1).
I found more glitter paper in yellow to frame my photo (Sparkle element 2) and then decided I wanted it to look like my photo was hanging from a ribbon with a gem topped brad (sparkle element 3).
Finally, I cut a large white star for my sentiment and several smaller in the yellow glitter paper. I placed them on the page to look like they were falling. For a final touch I added even more sparkle by filling in some of the backing stars with silver Stickles (sparkle element 4). There you have it my new favorite layout!  Thanks so much for stopping by to visit. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
