September 100 Cartridge Hop Day 1

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's September 100 cartridge Blog hop!
Collectively the design team uses over 100 different Cricut Cartridges in their projects during the two days of this hop.
What a fun month for the 100 Cart Hop.  Erica is even going to give a sneak peak of her new stamps that will be released on September 21. Please hop along as the Design Team shares work made with over 100 carts today and tomorrow.

This month I selected 3 really fun cartridges to work with: Cherry Limeade (my favorite font), Girl's Make-Up Party and Cricut Decals. I made 2 simple cards using these carts, but you can do so much with them it was hard to limit myself.
This first card uses the font off the Lite cartridge Cherry Limeade and an adorable little cut out from Cricut Decals (which came pre-loaded on my E2).
I made this card for a fellow Cricut Circle member's daughter after she hurt her arm and had to wear a cast. Her Mom asked us to send her some cards, which she calls, "Happy Mail!"
My second project is a quick gift tag I made for a basket we put together for a co-worker. We got her a gift certificate for a spa and attached it to the inside of this card. I once again used the Cherry Limeade font for my lettering, but I cut the card and cute robe with the Girl's Make-up Party cartridge.
Not sure why I am just now discovering how much easier it is to layer cuts when you keep the base on your mat but I am so I have to share it with you in case you have not discovered this.

Thanks for stopping by my place. I would love to hear your thoughts before you head off to...

If  you get lost please feel free to use the complete list below for today's hop

  1. I love the Happy mail card. I have to agree that Cherry Limeaide is one of my favorite fonts as well. It is simple and easy to read and cut!!! To combine it with the decal cartridge is super cute! Well done...

    1. I use different squares on my mat and place the things i need to cut on the mat in the right place using the gypsy. If I want only one thing of an image cut that color I use the hide/contour button to hide the image I do not want to cut.
