Let's Crab...I mean Grab Lunch!

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday. I have been getting more and more comfortable with my Cameo and that means exploring new cuts.  I recently discovered Miss Kate Cuttables. Miss Kate's offers some amazing svgs and clip art to use in your projects. She also offers a daily freebie! Here is today's:
Is this crab not the cutest? That is probably why he is called cute crab. When I saw him this morning, I got the idea for this simple card.  It was simple to separate his pieces (use the subtract key in the modify menu of your Silhouette Software) and add cut lines to him. I also added some Glossy Accents to his cheeks.

The flower paper I used is actually the back side of the red I used as my crab's body. It is from the Basic Grey, Fiction stack. I inked around the edge with a Copper Dew Drop before putting in on to my base. The tag was handwritten and fit right into his little claw.
For the inside, I repeated my flower paper and added a handwritten, "I Miss You" to complete the card.
I hope to get some more projects done with Miss Kate Cuttables soon. If you want this cute crab freebie it is only free for the day  so head on over!

  3. I have been down loading these as well but have really been procrastinating learning how to use my silhouette. I always think once life slows down but I better just jump in. Thanks for the cutest inspiration!!
