With Sympathy Card

I find sympathy cards among the hardest to create for someone. Recently I had to create one for a friend who lost her mother.
I wanted to use soft colors and patterns, but also knew how much my friend enjoyed flowers. I started with an embossed backing and layered the strips of paper over that before adding a ribbon and "With Sympathy" cut off the Wild Card cartridge.
On the inside I added another embossed layer and an additional strip of the flowered paper before selecting this sweet stamp form Pink By Design's Life's A Garden set. I sent flowers for her to plant in her mother's memory with the card.
