What do you get when asked to create a birthday themed project with at least 3 embellishments? Well you get a project for the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas.
My cousin made this fantastic doll dress cake for my daughter's 5th birthday. The dress was purple (my daughter's favorite) so I selected a bunch of purple embellishments to add to my layout. Washi tape, ribbon and brads were my main three, but my die cuts made the purple list as well.
I used the Cricut Sweet Treats cartridge to cut the cake stand, make a wish and fun number 5 birthday candle for this simple layout. I added some Yellow and Lavender Stickles as my final touch.
Hope you can join us this week at Die Cuttin' Divas: Challenge: Make a Birthday themed project with 3 embellishments!
Cute layout. Love the #5 candle and the title on the cake stand.
