Celebrate

Hope you are having a nice weekend. We are busy with birthdays and the last of the graduation parties for the year, but I wanted to share this simple card I made this week.
Sometimes when you make a project you do something that is great, but is not what you wanted, but what do you do with that left over piece?  Well, I  had this "Celebrate" cut left over when it did not match another project I was working on so I decided to create a fun card with it.
I cut a larger layer to go under my cut (from Gypsy Wanderings) and added some fun washi tape to it. I also added a little tape to the card base before putting all the layers together.
I put a few flowers onto the front with some simple brads.  I layered two different colors on each brad for this set. I finished off the card with a simple inside layer with some extra washi.
Hope you have had a great weekend. Please join me tomorrow for a new challenge at Fantabulous Cricut.

  2. Such a pretty card. I love the pink & turquoise. What a great idea to use washi to get a quick design inside your card. I don't use washi enough!
