Red, White & Blue Fantabulous Cricut Crawl

Happy Monday everyone and Happy July 1st! Today is my first day as part of the Fantabulous Cricut Design Team and we are having a wonderful Cricut Crawl. Each Design Team member has created a fabulous project using Red, White and Blue as the main colors, and of course at least one Cricut cut!
Fantabulous Cricut
Hopefully you have arrived here from Kim's Kreations. If you have just stumbled onto this fun hop you can start at the beginning of our crawl HEREMake sure to check out each DT member's blog!  There will be Blog Candy along the way at some of our DT members' blogs, and there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant who submits their own "Red, White &  Blue" project at FCCB!
Today I created this fun box using the Mini-Books Project cartridge. If you know about this cart than you might know that my box is actually an explosion box and hides this on the inside.
I used Cricut Craft Room to create the box and the layers on the inside. One each f the inside flaps I added some fun red, white, and blue patterned papers from my stash.
I used the star cut and layer from Creative Cards for my added on stars. Before I adhered them to the box I used a Dew Drop stamper to add some blue onto the white paper. I just stamped all around on each star until I was happy with the coverage. I added some fun patterned washi tape around the outside edge of the box as my final touch.
Thanks for hopping along with us today. I would love to hear what you think of my first explosion box. Your next stop on the crawl is

Make sure to visit all the stops along the way and when you get done, make sure you link up your project to FCCB's Fantabulous Cricut Crawl post!!

Here is the whole line up in case you get lost.

  15. You did a great job on your explosion box. I made my first one for my niece's graduation and had so much fun. At the time I didn't know there was one on Mini-Books. Now I will have to try that. Thank you for sharing.
