Waiting for the Ice Cream Truck

Who doesn't love the sound of the bells or song playing and children running to the ice cream man for a summer treat? I know I love it.  This week it is all about ice cream for the Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge.
I got this fun ice cream truck file from Miss Kate Cuttables. It went together so well.  I love that each file comes with a PDF of instructions just in case you wonder what layers go where.
I started with the base of my card using the Cuttlebug folder Charles to emboss my craft paper. Before I put the layers together I stamped my sentiment from Scrappy Mom Stamps, Kids Incorporated set onto my pink layer (once I forgot and stamping over the embossed layer did not work well.)
I added my truck onto the card with some large glue dots so it would sit up a little. Then I added the white floss to the card.  I used my ATG gun to keep it in place on the inside and covered it with another piece of pink paper. The final touch was a little Glossy Accent to my ice cream scoop.

I hope you will join us this week at Die Cuttin' Divas with your ice cream themed projects. Make sure to check out the rest of the Design Teams inspiration projects.  Have a great day.
