It is time for the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas and this week we are working with Orange & White. This card is sort of a stretch on the colors but I really like how it turned out.
This fun card was made using a card file from this week's guest designer, Melinda at Melinda's Paper Crafting Inspiration. She was nice to offer us a chance to work with her files so I jumped at the chance to play with this card.
I ended up cutting the lacy frame right into the base of my card instead of as a top layer and then added the orange backing layer on the inside of the card. This just worked faster for me when making the card, but I love this base so I think I will play with it more without the flowers.
After cutting my flowers I added some Stickles, orange gems and a simple sentiment stamp to finish off my card.
Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you will play along with us this week at Die Cuttin' Divas. I actually ended up making two cards for this challenge. I will share the second one later this week.
