Hello, Life

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge with Fantabulous Cricut!

Challenge #205 Spring Cleaning
Create a project using a cartridge or cut you have never used before.
I just got the Suburbia Cartridge on a great sale a few weeks back so it was the perfect choice for this week's challenge. It really has some fun fun images on it that could be used in a variety of ways.
I started by created a base for my card using a large polka dot stamp to create a backing that would match this patterned paper (I have been using a lot of green that I pulled out during my St. Patty's projects!!)
I selected and cut my lady with her patterned apron and stamped the simple sentiment onto the tray she was holding. I also could not resist adding a string of pearls to her neck with a white gel pen.
I finished up the card by creating a open inside to add a note to later. I find that as my card collection grows I am sending more notes to people via snail mail as we sometimes call it.  It makes me feel so good to hear they enjoyed it...even if I hear that via Facebook.

Hope you will join us and create with an unused cart or image this week.
