More Essential Oil Notebooks

I am so in love with essential oils. They make me feel so great and I love how my home smells when I diffuse them. The woman I am learning from was very into the notebook I made to keep track of my ideas and tips so I made a few more for her to do what she wants to do with them.
I wanted to make these ones very similar  to the original one but change up the colors and patterns a bit.
I still used the same bottle cut  I found on the Splish Splash Cricut Cartridge (this was one of those smaller cartridges form Walmart!!) because I think is is the perfect little bottle. I played around with the vines and styles.
I still put little designs on the inside as well. I hope whoever gets them will enjoy and use it well.  Have a wonderful week all. - Remember there is an anything goes challenge going on this week at Die Cuttin' Divas.

Supplies:
- Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge - border vine

Any Goes with Rubik's Cube

It is an anything goes kind of week - for many on Spring Break and for those who want to play along with Die Cuttin' Divas.  This week's challenge is Anything Goes.
Last week my daughter attend a birthday party for a friend who loves Rubik's Cubes so I made her card and gift box to match that love. It was so much fun to put together.
I cut the base of my cube and all the colored pieces got run through my sticker maker ready to go. I followed the template that came with my cut in order to place each square.
I put the box together without trouble and got to work on the matching card.  I made a smaller cube and added it to the front with an action wobble to make it move sort of like the twisting cube actually does. I added another on the inside and stamped some sentiments.
I wish I had a photo of the birthday girl - with the box and her actual cube in hand - it was a big hit!! Hope you have a hit this week and get to join in with our Anything Goes Challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas.

Supplies:
- Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons - Puzzle Cube cut
- Pink By Design Stamps - Artisan Tags & Love Today sets
- Action Wobble

Flower Gift Box with Die Cuttin' Divas

This week at Die Cuttin' Divas we are having fun with 3D projects. We want to see your 3D purses, bags or boxes. I wasn't sure what I wanted to make for this challenge but once I went looking at my different box cuts I got inspired.
I found papers that I liked and wanted to work with and cut the box out of a simple pattern.
Once it was all put together, I layered some pattered shapes to the top and sides.  I cut out the brown flowers to coordinate with the colors of my papers and added some gem like brads to finish them off.
I was very pleased with the final look.  Not sure what I will use this for, but I have a feeling it will be a great gift box once I do figure it out. Have a great week and come play along with us at Die Cuttin' Divas.

Supplies:
- Pretty Packages Cricut Cartridge - hexagon box and lid
- Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge - leaf
- Mother's day Boquet Cricut - flowers.
- DCWV Vintage Collector Stack - patterned papers

Rainbow of Thanks

Top of the Morning to you all.  As we get ready for St. Patty's Day later this week, the divas at Die Cuttin' Divas want to see your rainbow projects!!
I needed to add Thank you cards to my card stash  so I decided to go that route for my card this week. I wanted a fun rainbow so I decided to make a washi-tape.
I was super happy that I had polka dot washi in all the right colors so I went with that on this very pale blue paper. To add my die cuts I made a happy cloud and gave him some swirl embossing.
A cute thank you card ready for the next time I need one.  Hope you have a great week and get a chance to play along with us at Die Cuttin' Divas.

Supplies:
- Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge - cloud (from a rainbow cut)
- Mini-Monograms Cricut Cartridge - thanks
- Washi tape - various manufactures
- Swirls embossing folder - Tim Holtz

Oh Say Can You See ... March Sketch

It is time for another Tuesday challenge with Die Cuttin' Divas.  It is the first week of the month and that means a new sketch for us to play with.
I used the sketch to make a quick card for my daughter.  It is competition season again for the dance team and the new dances are wonderful and performing well. This past weekend the lyrical number, to the National Anthem took 4th overall in their division. I wanted a quick card to tell her I was so proud of her work on this number.
I started with the dancer image - I feel like I use these so often that I need to try and mix it up a bit so I selected one with a frame and added a shadow behind.
All the other pieces of the sketch were added with washi-tape, brads and a hand-written sentiment to show how proud. I made it pretty quickly but  am happy with the simple results. Here is my dancer in this number!!
I hope you have a wonderful week and get a chance to play along with our sketch challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas.

Supplies:
- Shall We Dance Cricut Cartridge - dancer frame
- Recollections Washi Tape
