We have this wonderful wall in out front hallway that I decorate for the different sport seasons and when it comes time for the play I put up a fun display with photos of the cast. This year, before I put up the photos (have to wait for the costume shots to do that). I cut out several different Alice characters using the new Disney Classics cartridge. I will put these all up on the wall Monday after Spring Break is over and than add the photos the week of the show.
I have always had this fear of making the Disney characters with the cartridges, but after getting one or two under your belt they are not so bad...I did make these rather large (all fill are as large as mat would allow) which helps, but I am feeling much more comfortable now. Once I get them up on the wall I will post a photo of the whole display.
All 5 Characters plus the Title (all from the Disney Classics cart) laid out on my floor. |
I did make a small variation in my playing card character. In our version of the play the gardeners that paint the roses red are the spade cards. The one on the cartridge comes with clubs so I hide them using my Gypsy and added in a spade from my Indie Art cartridge instead.
Over at Bitten By the Bug 2 the challenge this week is to use your Disney carts to create a project. They would love to see things from the newer ones, but if you do not have those use any Disney. I think I got this challenge covered with this wall display.
Don't forget I have a set of Cricut Markers that I am giving away. Just leave a comment under the following post:
