Hope everyone is ready for a brand new wonderful year in every way. I am having a great start getting time in my craft space while on winter break. It is making my New Year start off So Sweet!!!
In between getting some scrap booking done I am also in the middle of making some thank you notes for those giving people in my life. Today I have one that I made for a challenge blog I just found called, Red Carpet Studios. The challenges are inspired by movies and this week is anything goes with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (think sweets). How fun.
I wanted to use a cupcake as my sweet so I picked the one on From My Kitchen. I cut the shape twice so I could ave a brown cake and green leaf, I just chopped off the top on the brown version.
I added an embossed and glittered frosting and a button cherry with a Glossy Accents stem to finish off the yummy looking cupcake. I added the simple sentiment "so sweet" off the Cupcake Lite cartridge. I put all of this on top of a shiny pink cardstock with a touch of polka dot crafting tape.
I am staying true to my goal of making pretty insides on my cards so I also cut out thanks for the inside with a little more tape and solid layers. So glad to be part of this Red carpet Studio challenge and look forward to being part of more this year!
