Ghost Poop with Die Cuttin' Divas

Trick or Treat is around the corner (so looking forward to it) and this week Die Cuttin' Divas want to see your Halloween Projects. I really enjoy making some simple treats for my coworkers and when I saw this cute idea on Pinterest  I had to go for it myself.
Ghost Poop!!  How silly and fun right? (okay maybe a little gross as well but it is Halloween). You start with a bag of marshmallows and an easy bag topper.

Next, I used print and cut to place this cute poem onto some ovals. I found the poem on Pinterest and just tweaked it a little to make it about more than one ghost.
The final thing I needed was my ghosts which of course needed some google eyes. Now I have a bunch of ghost poop to hand out to some friends. I also am working on a different version of this that I will share in a few days.
I hope you will join us this week at Die Cuttin' Divas and share your Halloween Projects!

Supplies:
- Mini Monsters Cricut Cartridge - ghost
- Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbion -
- Google eyes from Michaels
- Font on poem is Janda Apple Cobbler

Think Pink with Die Cuttin' Divas

This week at Die Cuttin' Divas we are thinking pink in honor of Breast cancer awareness we want to see your projects inspired by Breast Cancer.I wanted a card that said thanks for the support so I created this
I started with all my shades of Pink and embossed them with different embossing folders before placing them together on a card base.
I cut out the simple Thanks and added it on top of my pink.
I gave the card to a friend to say thanks for her strength as even though she just got done fighting breast cancer she is always there for me.

I hope you will join us this week at Die Cuttin' Divas Think Pink- Breast cancer inspired projects!

Supplies:
- Creampuff font cut inside a Silhouette circle

Boo to You Parade!

It is so so so close I can taste it...Our 2nd trip to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is drawing near. The first time I got to attend this amazing event at Walt Disney World was a few years back. My daughter and I had such an amazing time and this year is going to be just as wonderful and we get to bring my husband along for the excitement.
This is a layout I created from the last trip to the party and the Boo to You parade that goes on. I started with a sketch by Becky Fleck and organized my photos.
Once I knew what photos I wanted I started looking for just the right papers and frames for my journaling boxes.
I selected some great frames off the Fancy Frames Cricut Cart that really had strong details by did not take away form all the fun papers I had put together on this layout.

So cannot wait to see this parade once again.  I am sure photos and layouts will be coming soon after we return. (Even if this one took me 2 years to complete!!)

Supplies:
- Fancy Frames Cricut Cartridge - black frames
- Pagemaps 2 by Becky Fleck sketch on pg 67
- Various Halloween paper form DCWV and stash

Orange & Purple Play with Die Cuttin' Divas

Boo to you!!! I am guessing any are working on fun Halloween projects as we get closer and closer to Trick or Treat and this week at Die Cuttin' Divas we want to see those projects. The challenge- Use Orange & Purple plus one other color.
I opted to use black as my extra color because I love this cute spider web and he looked super cute with my fun orange webbed paper. Once I had him all cut out I added some Stickles to make his web sparkle and some fun google eyes.
On top of my sparkly web I added a simple "Boo!" as my main message. I love fun Halloween cards. I hope you can play along with our color challenge this week at Die Cuttin' Divas. We have a wonderful prize to give away to a random winner every other week.  Our current sponsor is Flourish with a Bling!

Supplies:
- Paper Trimmings Cricut Cartridge - web and spider
- Wild Card Cricut Cartridge - Boo
- Black Diamond Stickles

Get Well Sketch Card with Die Cuttin' Divas

Happy day to you everyone. It is a new Tuesday and the first one of the month which means it is time for a sketch challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. Here is the great sketch we have to work with.
And here is the cute get well card I made.

I calibrated my machine twice to double check my cut lines and it is cutting like a dream. I guess I will be using a lot ore printer ink.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will  get some time to join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week.  Our current sponsor is Kadoodle Bug Designs - One random winner is selected every two weeks so come and play with us.

Celebrate with Fantabulous Cricut

Happy Monday and welcome to another Monday challenge!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #231
Celebrate - Create a Birthday Card

For my project I celebrated my Dad!! For his birthday I made him this simple card.

I started off with selecting the striped card from my Project Life card collection and picking the card base colors to go with it. Next I found the right words and present cut to complete my card. Of course it needed just a little sparkle.
Once I had the outside finsihed I repeated the same base pattern with Project Life card on the inside and added some cute stamps as well. (Shh no one tell I said how old he is!!)
One birthday card all set! I hope you will take some time to celebrate with us at Fantabulous Cricut this week. We have a great sponsor once again.
